Human Resources Assistant

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will provide support in all areas related to compensation, benefits, and staffing. Under minimal supervision, process and administer payroll, employee benefits, and employment-related forms. Assists employees and applicants with general inquiries pertaining to Bank policies and procedures related to Human Resources. A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; one to three years of payroll/benefits OR HR Generalist and strong office/administrative experience or HR degree; or equivalent combination of education/experience is required. Must have the working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

 

Tellers – Aina Haina, Kahala, Kailua, Keeaumoku, Mililani
Under moderate supervision processes various financial transactions in a friendly, efficient, accurate and professional manner. High school degree or GED and previous experience in cash handling or customer service required. Ideal candidates will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public. Computer experience, ten-key and typing ability desired.  Part-Time Tellers must be flexible and able to work 19 hours per week.

 

Relief Teller – Oahu
Based on the island of Oahu, Relief Tellers provide full-time Teller support to bank branches. Processes various financial transactions in a friendly, efficient, accurate and professional manner. High school degree or GED and previous experience in cash handling or customer service required. Ideal candidates will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public. Computer experience, ten-key and typing ability desired. Qualified applicants must be flexible, have their own transportation and be able to work at various locations, including neighbor island branches. Relief Tellers earn a salary differential and mileage reimbursement.

 

Part-Time Savings Utility Representative – Nuuanu
Under minimal supervision, provide clerical support to the branch retail operations staff. Duties may include typing, filing, completing forms, responding to telephone and written inquiries, gathering documents, and preparing files. Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours a week, have effective communication skills and computer ability in a Windows environment. Ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, efficient, and displays attention to detail. Working knowledge of Word and Excel, moderate typing ability, and 10-key by touch preferred.

 

Operations Supervisor – Manoa
Supervise and direct the day-to-day operations of the branch.  Ideal candidates will have one to three years of recent supervisory experience and/or training in all phases of financial institution branch operations.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work well with others and under pressure are also required.

 

Senior Tellers – Ala Moana, Downtown, Kaimuki
Under minimal supervision, assist the Operations Supervisor and Branch Manager with supervising and coordinating the activities of the Teller area. Process various financial transactions in a friendly, efficient, accurate and professional manner. Must have at least one to two years of financial institution experience, including six months as a Teller and six months related experience. Ideal candidates will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public. Computer experience, ten-key and typing ability desired.

 

Senior Relief Teller
Based on the island of Oahu, a Senior Relief Teller provides full-time senior level assistance with daily operations to bank branches. Under minimal supervision, processes various financial transactions and may also assist with supervising and coordinating the activities of the branch in the absence of the appropriate supervisor. High school diploma and six consecutive months to a year of Teller and related work or practical experience within a financial institution. Ideal candidates will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public, have computer experience, working knowledge of Word and Excel, ten-key by touch, and typing ability. Qualified applicants must be flexible, have their own transportation and be able to work at various locations, including neighbor island branches. Senior Relief Tellers earn a salary differential and mileage reimbursement.

 

Loan Officer Assistant
Must be fluent Japanese speaking and able to read Japanese to translate documents. We have an immediate opening for an organized multi-tasker to assist a high-volume residential loan officer with packaging loans for processing in a neat and timely manner and within strict timelines in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures and secondary markets. The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree or higher and two years related work or practical experience and/or training in mortgage lending; effective communication skills; computer ability in a Windows environment and working knowledge of Word and Excel; ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
